Getting started

What is Doqqly?
Doqqly is booking and event management software for music and entertainment teams — and the solo professionals who work the same events. It takes a booking from first enquiry through quote, confirmed date, contract signing, supplier coordination, billing and team payouts, with your Gmail or Microsoft 365 mailbox and your Google or Outlook calendar built in.
Who is it for?
Two kinds of people. Event teams in music and entertainment — function bands and wedding bands, orchestras and ensembles, agencies, event organizers and production teams juggling enquiries, contracts, suppliers and payouts across many events. And solo event pros — photographers, videographers, celebrants, florists, photo-booth operators, personal chefs: anyone paid to personally be at an event, running the whole diary themselves.
I'm a one-person business — is Doqqly for me?
Yes. The free Base plan is built for exactly that: your booking pipeline, supplier journal and a public enquiry form you can link from your own website, for up to 25 active bookings — no card, no time limit. When you want e-signed contracts, one-click email replies and calendar sync, take the 14-day Pro trial and see if it earns its keep.
How do I sign up?
Head to the sign-in page and create a workspace with your Google or Microsoft account. You’ll be guided through a short onboarding to set up your team and preferences.

Enquiries & bookings

How do I keep track of booking enquiries without losing them in my inbox?
Give clients one place to enquire — Doqqly's public enquiry form, hosted for you or embedded on your own website — and every submission becomes a booking in your pipeline, with a notification on your phone the moment it lands. From there you move it through statuses (new enquiry, quote sent, confirmed and so on — your own custom ones on Pro) and can see at a glance what is still waiting on a reply. On Pro, replies go out from your own Gmail or Microsoft 365 address using one-click templates.
Can I put a booking enquiry form on my own website?
Yes. Every workspace, including the free Base plan, gets a customizable enquiry form at its own doqqly.com address that you can link from your site or embed directly in a page. Pro workspaces can also receive enquiries through an inbound API, so a form you already run in Typeform, Zapier or your own code can feed the same pipeline.
How do I avoid double-booking a date?
Doqqly checks each booking against the rest of your diary and marks a clash next to the date in your booking list and on the calendar, so you see the overlap before you confirm. Which statuses count is configurable — a declined enquiry shouldn't block a date, a confirmed booking should. On Pro, confirmed dates also sync to your Google or Outlook calendar.
Does Doqqly work for wedding bands and function bands?
It was built for them first. A wedding or corporate enquiry comes in through your form, you send a quote and a booking contract from templates, the client e-signs online, the date syncs to your calendar, and after the gig you bill the client and split the fee across the band with each member's share recorded. Deposits, balance and payouts all live on the booking itself.
Can I use Doqqly on my phone?
Yes. Doqqly is a web app you install on your phone or tablet straight from the browser — no app store — and it sends push notifications for new enquiries and other things that need you. The whole booking, including the email thread and the contract, is there on the small screen.

Contracts, payments & suppliers

Can I send a booking contract and have the client sign it online?
Yes, on Pro. Build one or more contract templates with merge fields for the client, date, venue and fee; Doqqly fills them in from the booking, generates the PDF and emails the client a private signing link. They sign by drawing or typing their name, the signed contract is stored against the booking, and every version stays on file — if terms change, you issue a new version and the old one is kept for the record.
How do I track deposits and balances for each event?
Every booking carries its quoted fee, the deposit and the payments received, so the outstanding balance is always visible against the date. On Pro, the Bill tab turns that into a per-event bill — your core fee, any supplier charges passed on to the client, extras and tax — with payments deducted and the balance due shown. Formal invoices, receipts and credit notes arrive with the Financial add-on, which is coming soon.
Can I split a fee between band members or my team?
Yes, on Pro. Once a booking is confirmed, the Payout tab works out what is left to distribute after supplier costs and splits it across the people on the job, with each member's usual share pre-filled from your team directory and adjustable per event. What each person has been paid is recorded against the booking.
How do I manage suppliers for an event?
Keep a supplier journal — sound, lighting, floral, DJs, whoever you book in — and attach the ones you need to each event with what they cost you and what you charge the client. On Pro you can email each supplier from inside the booking, so the thread sits with the event, and pass their charge straight through to the client's bill under a label you choose.
Does Doqqly help fill seats in an ensemble or orchestra?
That is the Production add-on, which is coming soon. It adds ensembles with seat targets, multi-date runs and 'who to call next' suggestions ranked by call tier, reliability and fair rotation — every pick yours to override — with calendar invites and RSVPs pulled back into the booking. Rehearsals on their own are already included in Pro.

Pricing & plans

Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Base plan is free for one user and includes booking management, the public enquiry form, a supplier journal and the in-app calendar, capped at 25 active bookings — plenty to run a one-person business. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited bookings, email, contracts and the rest.
What do the paid plans include?
Pro (€55/mo, up to 5 users included) unlocks unlimited bookings, email and calendar through your Google or Microsoft account, contracts and e-signing, custom statuses and automations, email templates, per-event billing and team payouts, and the inbound enquiry API. You can add extra team seats (€10 each). The Production (ensembles and multi-date runs) and Financial (invoices, receipts and full accounts) add-ons are coming soon. See the pricing section for details.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. You can cancel from your billing settings at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
What happens to my bookings if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Your workspace drops back to the free Base plan and keeps working; bookings beyond the free cap are shown as placeholders until you are back under it or upgrade again, and everything reappears in full the moment you do.

Integrations

Does it work with Gmail or Microsoft 365?
Both. Connect one mailbox per workspace — a Google Workspace or Gmail account, or a Microsoft 365 account — and Doqqly shows the email thread tied to each booking and sends replies, quotes and contracts from your own address, so clients see you, not a third party. You stay in control and can disconnect at any time.
How does calendar sync work?
Confirmed bookings and rehearsals sync to your Google Calendar or Outlook calendar, and you can choose which statuses sync and which calendar each workspace uses. With the Production add-on, musicians are invited as attendees and their RSVPs flow back into the booking.

Data & security

Where is my data stored?
Your workspace content is stored securely with our infrastructure providers and isolated per workspace using row-level security, so no other team can see your data.
Do you use my Gmail or Calendar data for anything else?
No. We only use Google data to power the features you connect. We never sell it or use it for advertising or AI training. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
What happens to deleted records?
Deleted items move to a Recycle Bin and are purged on a schedule you control in your workspace settings, so accidental deletions are recoverable within that window.
