Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Doqqly (the “Service”). By creating a workspace or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

Who we are

Doqqly is operated by Joseph Axiak, an independent sole trader based in Malta (referred to in these Terms as “we”, “us” or “our”). You can contact us at support@doqqly.com.

The Service

Doqqly is an event management platform for music and entertainment teams, covering enquiries, bookings, contracts, billing, supplier coordination and team payouts, with optional Google (Gmail and Calendar) and Microsoft 365 (Outlook mail and calendar) integration. We may add, change or remove features over time.

Accounts

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and are responsible for the actions of team members you invite to your workspace.

Subscriptions and billing

• Doqqly offers a free tier and paid plans and add-ons. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment provider, Stripe.
• Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change, and we will give reasonable notice of any increase.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to break the law or infringe others’ rights.
• Send spam, or unlawful, harmful or misleading content.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Resell or provide the Service to third parties except as permitted by your plan.

Your content

You retain ownership of the data and content you put into Doqqly. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process and display that content in order to provide the Service. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and consents for the data you store, including data about your clients, suppliers and team members.

Financial features, invoicing and tax

Doqqly includes tools for quotes, billing, invoices, credit notes, receipts, payouts and accounts reporting, including tax calculations and accountant export packs. These features exist to help you organise and present your own figures. They are not accounting, bookkeeping, tax or legal advice, and Doqqly is not an accountant, tax agent or certified accounting package.

You are solely responsible for:

• the accuracy and completeness of the data you enter — amounts, dates, tax rates, exemptions, and client and supplier details;
• selecting and applying the correct tax treatment, rates and exemptions for your jurisdiction;
• ensuring that any invoice, credit note, receipt or report Doqqly generates meets the legal, formatting and record-keeping requirements that apply to you, including document numbering, mandatory content and retention periods;
• reviewing, reconciling and verifying every figure and document before you rely on it, issue it, or file it; and
• calculating, reporting, filing and paying the correct taxes to the relevant authorities.

Doqqly does not file returns or remit payments to any tax authority on your behalf. Calculations and reports are generated automatically from the settings and data you provide, and may contain errors or may not reflect the law that applies to you. We strongly recommend a qualified accountant or tax advisor reviews your records. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any tax, penalty, interest, fine, mis-statement or other loss arising from incorrect, incomplete or misinterpreted data, calculations or documents, or from your reliance on the financial features.

Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties such as Google, Microsoft and Stripe. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.

Availability

We work to keep Doqqly available and reliable, but the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may perform maintenance, and occasional downtime may occur.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doqqly is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability arising from the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service during that period.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta. The courts of Malta have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings there.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
